Moderation policy
Every contribution to the PledgeRadar community is reviewed so that discussions stay evidence-led and free of spam and abuse.
Review before publishing
New posts and replies are checked automatically for advertising, contact details, excessive links, abusive language and unsupported accusations, then reviewed by a moderator. Content is only visible to the public once it is approved. Members with a consistent record of high-quality contributions may be marked as trusted, and their low-risk posts can be published without waiting.
Possible outcomes
- Approved: the post or reply becomes public.
- Rejected: the author can see the moderator's note explaining why.
- Hidden: previously public content is removed from view, for example after a valid report.
Account actions
- Mute: the member can still read and sign in but cannot post or reply.
- Ban: the account can no longer be used, and its content may be hidden.
- Posting limits can be adjusted for individual accounts.
Every moderation decision is logged with the moderator and the reason.
Reports and appeals
Use the Report button on any post or reply to flag a problem. If you think a decision about your content or account was wrong, email [email protected] with the link and your reasoning, and a different moderator will review it where possible.
Liability
Moderation reduces but cannot eliminate inaccurate or harmful content. Community posts express the views of their authors. PledgeRadar does not verify user or third-party claims and accepts no legal responsibility for the content of community discussions.
